<head2>Parveen R. Sondhi, MD</head2>
<p>Dr. Parveen R. Sondhi is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She received her initial medical degree in India, and was Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology in a prestigious hospital in the capital city of New Delhi, India. Upon moving to the U.S. she went through residency again at St Vincent's Hospital & Medical Center, New York City. Dr. Sondhi started her solo practice in the West Village, NYC, taking care of the obstetric and gynecological needs of her patients for over 15 years. In December 2008 she closed her practice and joined NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation at Morrisania Diagnostic & Treatment Center in the Bronx, NY as an OB/GYN specialist. She received the 2009 Doctor of the Year Award by the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation for promoting women's health.</p>
<p>Dr. Sondhi's main interest is giving women total care of body, mind and spirit. Her Indian background has given her familiarity with certain eastern traditional healing methods. She plans to incorporate integrative approaches into the total care of the women she treats.</p>
